Cookie policy

A small, deliberate set of cookies to run the site and measure what's working. Nothing creepy — and nothing non-essential loads until you say yes.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies (like local storage and pixels) do much the same job. We use them to keep the site working, to remember your choices, and — only with your consent — to understand how the site is used. This policy covers our website; how we handle personal data more broadly is in our privacy policy.

When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all or Reject— both choices are equally prominent. Until you accept, analytics and marketing cookies stay switched off by default (we use Google Consent Mode v2, and our product analytics start in an opted-out state). Essential cookies always run because the site can’t work without them. We remember your decision in your browser so you aren’t asked every time; to change it, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will reappear.

Essential cookies

Strictly necessary to run the site — page delivery, security, and load balancing — and to remember your cookie choice itself (stored in your browser’s local storage). These also support core preferences such as light/dark theme. You can’t opt out of these without breaking the site, and they don’t require consent.

Functional cookies

We use Intercomto provide live chat. Because chat is a support tool you actively choose to use, it loads on every page and sets cookies on our domain so a conversation you start here can continue — including if you later log into the product. If you don’t open the messenger, it doesn’t identify you.

Analytics cookies

These only run after you accept. They tell us, in aggregate, what’s working so we can improve the site:

  • PostHog — product and website analytics, plus error monitoring, so we can find and fix problems.
  • Google Analytics 4 — loaded through Google Tag Manager, for traffic and behaviour measurement.

Marketing cookies

Also only after you accept. We use a limited set of advertising and conversion-measurement tags (managed through Google Tag Manager) to understand which campaigns bring people to the site. These run on this website only — not inside the platform — and stay disabled in the UK and EEA until you consent.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings, and re-trigger our banner by clearing this site’s stored data. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working. We don’t use third-party ad-network tracking pixels across the platform.

Changes

As our tools change, we’ll keep this page up to date and update the ‘updated’ date above. Questions? Email [email protected].
