Are you a supplier for Barratt Redrow, Miller Homes or Taylor Wimpey?

Barratt Redrow, Miller Homes and Taylor Wimpey now require their supply chain to submit and manage waste and material documentation in one place.

They are rolling out Nexus ReGen across their projects to improve how material and waste movement information is captured, shared, and managed.

As part of the supply chain, you are required to use Nexus ReGen Project DataPoint to submit project documentation, such as waste transfer notes and material tickets, in a simple and consistent way.

What is Nexus ReGen?

Nexus ReGen is a digital platform used across construction projects to manage material movement data and connect project teams with their supply chains.

It provides a single place to:

Share and manage material movement documentation

Track material movements across projects

Work more efficiently with project teams and other partners

What is Project DataPoint?

Barratt Redrow, Miller Homes and Taylor Wimpey are introducing a more streamlined approach to managing material movement and waste documentation across developments.

Construction projects generate a mountain of movement data:

Deliveries

Haulage tickets

Waste transfers

Permits

Proof of compliant disposal

Why you have been invited

Barratt Redrow, Miller Homes and Taylor Wimpey are introducing a more streamlined approach to managing material movement and waste documentation across developments.

As part of this rollout, contractors and supply chain partners are being given access to Nexus ReGen Project DataPoint to securely share project information, including:

  • Waste Transfer Notes (WTNs)
  • Material delivery tickets
  • Tickets and load notes
  • Manifests and supporting compliance paperwork

This replaces fragmented processes like email chains, spreadsheets, and manual tracking, creating a more consistent and efficient way of working across projects.

What this means for you (contractors,
hauliers, and waste partners)

Firstly, your client has mandated that Project Datapoint is a required repository to share information.

Secondly, using Nexus ReGen and Project DataPoint helps you:

  1. Protect your relationship with the customer
If Project DataPoint is mandated on the job, getting set up quickly helps you stay in good standing and keep work moving.
  2. Reduce back-and-forth and chasers
Submit once, then the project team has what they need without repeated requests for “the ticket”, “the WTN”, or “the permit”.
  3. Avoid changing how your team works on site
Keep using your existing tickets, PDFs, photos, and internal systems. Just submit them through the agreed channel.
  4. Reduce disputes with clearer proof
A clear record of what was submitted and when helps reduce friction when questions come up.
  5. Onboard faster across multiple projects
Once you are set up, it is easier to support multiple sites and clients without reinventing the process each time.

What Project DataPoint does
(in plain terms)

Project DataPoint is the data gateway inside Nexus ReGen that captures, processes, and shares material movement information for each project.

Your supply chain can upload or forward documents in the formats already used today (PDFs, scans, CSVs, and in some cases API feeds). Nexus ReGen then:

  • Stores the original documents securely
  • Extracts key fields into structured data, such as:
    • Materials and quantities
    • EWC codes
    • Dates
    • Carrier Details
    • Origin and destination
    • Permits
  • Creates a consistent, searchable record across projects and partners
  • Shares the right data with the right stakeholders through the project’s Data Sharing Agreement
  • Powers dashboards, reporting, and exports for audits and internal reporting

How it works (high level)

  1. Your client sets up a project and invites the supply chain to participate in Project DataPoint through a Data Sharing Agreement
  2. Contractors submit documents to Project DataPoint via upload, email dropbox, CSV, or API (where relevant)
  3. Nexus ReGen stores the original file, hashes it for integrity, and extracts the data automatically
  4. Barratt Redrow, Miller Homes and Taylor Wimpey gets a consolidated dashboard plus exports for reporting, audits, and compliance

Outcomes (for the project
and the supply chain)

  • A single source of truth
One place to see, search, filter, and analyse material movements across projects.
  • An audit trail you can trust
Tamper-resistant record keeping with timestamps, original documents, and integrity checks.
  • Less admin, faster answers
Stop chasing paperwork. Get reporting-ready data as a byproduct of normal site activity.

Common concerns (answered)

  • “Is this extra admin?”
No. The goal is to reduce repetitive chasers and make submissions consistent across every supplier.
  • “Do I need new software?”
No. You can upload files, email them in, or connect via export or API if you already have digital ticketing.
  • “Is my data secure?”
Yes. Data sharing is controlled by the project’s Data Sharing Agreement, so information is shared with the right project and stakeholders only.

Getting Set Up

  1. You will receive an invitation to Nexus ReGen linked to a specific project.
Click the link in your email and create your account (if required). Accept the Data Sharing Agreement, which securely links your project to your client.
  2. Choose How You Submit Data
You can submit documents using whichever method fits your current process:
Upload via a secure web upload link, forward documents to a unique project specific email address or connect existing digital ticketing or haulage tracking systems directly.
    No new systems required.
No change to how you generate documents today.

Submitting Data (Ongoing Process)

Once set up, simply submit documents as materials move: PDFs, photos or scanned tickets, digital records, CSV exports. There is no strict format — the system is designed to handle variation.

What This Means for You

  • No Additional Admin.
You are not being asked to create new documents, only to submit what already exists.
  • Simple Submission
Upload, email, or integrate, whatever works best for your workflow.
  • Full Transparency
All material movements are tracked, recorded, and accessible when needed.
  • Future-Proof Compliance
Your data will already align with DEFRA’s Digital Waste Tracking requirements.
  • Unlock More Than Just Compliance
Project DataPoint gives your client visibility but for you, it creates an opportunity to improve how materials are managed commercially across your projects.
  • With access to the full Nexus ReGen platform, you can:
Identify reuse, removal, and procurement options before material leaves site.
Reduce haulage and disposal costs. Access live opportunities across active projects and supply chains. Improve control and decision-making across material movements.
